Erik Magnussen turns multifunctionality into art. With Plateau, the Danish designer succeeded in creating an extraordinarily elegant fusion of table and chair in the shape of a lounge chair. The right armrest offers convenient space for the things that accompany you, whether a tablet or a coffee cup. Inspired by his left hand, Magnussen designed an organic shell form that offers space for interaction or retreat. He showed his magic touch with this design, which won him the Red Dot Design Award, amongst others.
